High-level architecture of Zmanda Pro

Zmanda Pro includes two key components:

• Zmanda Pro Server: A cloud-based management server hosted by Zmanda. This provides centralized management and control for your backup and recovery operations.

• Zmanda Pro Clients: These clients handle data processing and transmission and must be installed on your workloads. The compatibility details specify how the backup client software aligns with various Protected Items.

The Zmanda Pro server is offered as a hosted solution where the server infrastructure, updates, and scaling are managed by Zmanda and hosted by a major cloud service provider.

Customers will be given access to Zmanda Pro Console, a web-based administrative console, to manage their backups.
