Ensure Zmanda Pro is installed on the client machine and the protected item is properly configured, as described in the previous section.
There are two ways to initiate a backup:
Client-triggered backup
Server-triggered backup
To take a backup, right click on the protected item and click on “Backup”.
Under the “Backup” option you can select either the “Storage provided by Zmanda” option or chose a custom one by clicking on the plus icon on the right.
Click on “Backup”.
After the backup is complete, the log should be visible in protected item’s “Job logs”.
