The Storage section under your Settings is used to manage default storage options which are available when requesting a new Storage Vault for a user. When adding a Storage Vault for a new or existing account, you can simply assign a Storage Template instead of manually creating a storage location per account. Zmanda Pro will automatically separate user data and therefore there is no need to create separate bucket locations manually.
The Zmanda Pro Storagemanager Service is an add-on that automates the creation of storage templates which can be configured in the Zmanda Pro Setup Package. The Storagemanager Service is a Linux systemd service and requires root permissions to create Storage Vaults
The Zmanda Pro Storagemanager service allows for automating the creation of SFTP Storage templates. For every instance of the storage template provisioned, a new Linux user is created and the Storage Vault for that instance will be protected by leveraging Linux User and Group Permissions of the created Linux user.
Note that any number of SFTP Storage Template instances can be provisioned for 1 backup user on the Zmanda Pro Server.
