This comprehensive guide outlines the step-by-step process for customers to download Zmanda EBR version 5.1 license from Network Zmanda.

  1. Log in to using your credentials.

  1. After logging in, you'll land on the homepage. Navigate to the download section from the left navigation panel and locate the 5.1 license issued by Zmanda sales admin.

  1. Expand the 5.1 license to view all products, including their versions and quantities.

Note: Zmanda Cloud Storage is a separate product included in the 5.1 license with a default quantity of 1 TB.

  1. The license covers various workload sources, which include:

    • Linux

    • Windows

    • Windows Desktop

    • MS SQL

    • Postgres on Linux

    • Oracle on Windows

    • Oracle on Linux

    • VMWare VM

    • Hyper-V VM

  2. Additionally, file share sources include:

    • NFS, iSCSI, or Lustre-based backup (UNIX servers and NAS)

    • NDMP Option

    • Windows Network Drive Backup: Via CIFS/SMB

  3. You can review the available features for the backup server, providing a comprehensive understanding of the capabilities associated with the license.

  1. When attempting to download the 5.1 license, you will encounter specific steps based on the features:

  • If Disaster Recovery (DR) feature is present, provide both primary and secondary MAC addresses. The secondary MAC address is optional.

  • Once you provide the primary MAC address and click Next, a one-time passkey will be displayed.

  • If you attempt to download the license a second time with the DR feature enabled, the secondary MAC address will be required.

  • If no DR feature exists, providing the MAC address is sufficient for downloading the license. After entering the MAC address and clicking Next, a one-time passkey will be displayed to download the license.

By following these steps, users can access and utilize their licenses effectively, enabling them to make the most of the features and capabilities offered by Zmanda EBR 5.1.
